Days come galore! There are so many things that probe your mind. Many thoughts pondering all around it. Taking time out, I went down the memory lane to revisit my flings and some other things. Reading them now, some of my conversations sound quite inspid; even boring at times. Reckon it was a learning phase for me and I made my share of mistakes. What is quite evident is my desperate attempt to make an impression. While I failed miserably many times, here are few spin offs where to some extent I suceeded.
Cheshta was a fiesty girl with a knack of beckoning trouble. What distinguished her from the pack was her penchant for trying out new and well different things. We first met in the college amphitheatre where she was chatting with a couple of friends.
'Hello girls', said Baizit. As if he was their fast friend.
'Hello Sir'
He began blabbing about God Knows what.
What good he did to me, he informally introduced me to the girls of HR.
Now whenever we bump in the college corridors, we would often exchange a smiles. Though our interaction was minimal we got acquainted.
Strangely enough in spite of knowing each other, we hit off on the net. There we got talking. Although she was one year senior to me in school, but here she was one year my junior.
What began as a one off thing became a regular feature. Gradually we began to talk on a daily basis.
By this time, I had completed my MBA and joined business. After coming from office, there wasn't much for me to do. So instead of watching television, I would open my Laptop and log on to the net where she generally would be waiting for me.
We would end up chatting for hours, deep into the night. And suprisingly we would have plenty to talk. Sharing some common traits helped. It had been a long time since I had seen Cheshta. And actually I had a very fade memory about her looks.
'Lets meet up sometime.' ,she suggested.
'Sounds like an idea. Lets keep it for the weekend'
She wanted to meet me. My only worry was would I be able to recoginse her in the crowd. Honestly she had a very cute friend, with whom he hanged most of the times. I had more of her in mind.
Anyways, we fixed Centre Stage Mall as our meeting point. She insited on meeting inside a resto-bar for the sake brevity. I reached the venue as per schedule. She asked me to wait for her inside the restaurant. It was 6:00 Pm, the bar was spacrecely occupied. I took my place on the table thinking about the rendezvous to come. Suddenly a girl entered, she smiled at me. Is it her? She was average looking, lanky and built athletically.
The first thought that came to my mind was, her friend was definately more cute.
Hey Vashudha! Where is your friend Cheshta?
OMG she was bambozzled. Her face grew all red & just when the volcano was about to erupt,
Got you! Thats for keeping me waiting sweet heart.
That eased the situation a bit.
Smile returned to her face.
Spank!! she hit me hard on the arm
Don't you ever do that again.
Come lets sit.
We took our seats. I couldn't control my smile all this while.
What?
Why are you gigling?
Just like that.
Shut up
To think of it. What would you have done, if my prank was the bitter pill of reality.
Accha! You wouldn't be alive to tell its tale.
Ferociuos lioness.
Yes!
But you fractured my arm see.
Its all red.
Oh my baby.
Now we were talking, flirting & canoodling.
We had a nice time hanging out with each other.
But I wasn't really attracted towards her. And it was no surprise. We had met before. She didn't catch my fancy then, now was no exception.
Well think of it logically. I am single, not many options. In fact none at all. So why let go of the bargain in hand. Sounds a bit crude, but thats the cost benefit analysis of it all.
Beautiful lets play along. Enjoy the moment. We did, it went all fine for some time. Then the turbulances began. Initially they were mild. Survived!
Then the frequency increased.
It was ackward man. Just because she is a lawyer, doesn't need to argue all the time.
It became irritating after a while she came.
Then came the point where you either make it or break it.
Our discussion turned into heated debates.
Intimacy gave away & as the final straw we broke up.
Well thats the curious case of my 'fling'
